Job Description

The Financial Analyst II role is an intermediate-level role responsible for complex financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting tasks. This role provides decision support to departments and participates in capital needs assessments.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare and analyze departmental budgets and forecasts; recommend adjustments.
  • Develop and maintain cost accounting models for service lines.
  • Create detailed proformas for capital projects and new initiatives.
  • Perform financial impact analyses for operational changes and strategic decisions.
  • Generate and present reports to department leaders and finance leadership.
  • Act as a resource for department managers on financial performance and budgeting.

Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Required
  • Master’s degree Preferred

Work Experience

  • Minimum of two years' relevant experience in financial analysis (healthcare experience strongly preferred). Required
