Day (United States of America)Financial Analyst IThe Financial Analyst I assists in preparation of Halifax Health's operational budget and prepares and coordinates distribution of various financial reports and analyses. This individual will assist in preparation of the health systems' operational budget as will as maintain, update and audit financial databases on a monthly basis. The Financial Analyst will act as a liaison with department managers and administrative staff in the preparation and analysis of financial reports to provide information and to resolve problems concerning variances from approval budget.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required
- Minimum of two years previous experience in a financial analysis/budgeting position in a healthcare environment or related field
- Analytical skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management both verbally and in written format
- Strong computer skills
- Must possess strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize responsibilities appropriately
- High degree of energy, self confidence, integrity and self motivation.
