About the role:

LRN is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst with 3–5 years of experience to support the Financial Planning & Analysis team while acting as a key financial partner to the Operations and Technology teams.

LRN is a leading ethics and compliance company providing advising and educating on ethics, regulatory compliance, and corporate culture to organizations. The FP&A team is responsible for reporting, strategic planning, and business analytics, working closely with all business units throughout LRN to help drive operational efficiency and execution.

Requirements

What you’ll do:

Operations & Technology Partnership

  • Act as a financial liaison to the Operations and Technology teams, helping translate financial activity to improve business outcomes
  • Assist in helping operational leaders understand workflows, productivity metrics, and provide visibility into their monthly expenditures
  • Provide ongoing KPIs and analytics related to staff utilization, efficiency, and timing of their expenses
  • Support ad hoc analysis for operational initiatives, process improvements, and technology investments

Financial Reporting

  • Support the FP&A Manager with month-end close activities, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods
  • Assist in preparing monthly management reporting packages and executive summaries
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes

Data & Analytics

  • Help build and maintain KPI dashboards and recurring reports for operations and finance stakeholders
  • Analyze trends in staffing, performance, and operational costs to identify risks and opportunities
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial and operational reporting
  • Continuously improve reporting processes through automation and better data visualization

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business
  • 3-5 Years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, consulting with strong accounting background
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling basics)
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and variance analysis
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
