
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Finance, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial, accounting and analytical support relating to physician contracts and funding. This includes programs funded by the Ministry’s Alternative Payments Program, such as Clinical Service Contracts, Sessions and other Ministry programs, such as MOCAP, Rural Programs, as well as physician services funded by Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), such as administrative services and non-Ministry funded service contracts. Responsibilities include analyzing and evaluating the utilization of physician contract funding allocations, and supporting the provision of relevant information to other areas of VCH to ensure transparency and clear decision making. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or finalist in a recognized professional accounting program (CPA) supplemented by ERP related Information Systems courses and three (3) to five (5) years’ recent, related experience within a large organization or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience. Proficient knowledge/experience working with complex financial computer systems and Excel required.
