We’re looking for a talented Financial Analyst (Manufacturing) to join our Louvain-la-Neuve finance team at Zoetis. 

This is a challenging role at the site supporting the Plant Controller in a broad range of areas including annual operating plan, forecasting and month end close where you will be working directly with operations colleagues across the site to understand financial performance and interpret results.

Main responsibilities

Operational expenses

Ensure follow up of the plant variances

Provide all requested reports (internal & external)

Participate in quarterly forecasting and annual operating plan

Ensure compliance with Zoetis policies and procedures and SOX controls

Develop, implement, new tools allowing to improve the process

Improve reporting, integration of forecast and budget data

Ad-hoc support as required

Liaise with Zoetis Financial Services (ZFS) and Accounting Team in Zaventem

Inventory

Ensure accurate inventory valuation & management

Analyse in/out transactions

Ensure monthly reconciliation: inventory vs SAP vs balance sheet accounts

Facilitate communication between Supply chain, QA, Production and Finance on all inventory concerns

Act as a contact for internal and external audits

Ensure compliance with Zoetis policies and procedures and SOX controls

Ad-hoc support as required

Education and experience

More than 4 years relevant finance experience in multinational and/or manufacturing environment.

Bachelor / University degree or equivalent through experience.

Experience in a manufacturing site is an asset.

Technical skills and competencies

High level of self-motivation and flexibility coupled with good interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication skills, and experience in dealing with senior executives.

Good analytical skills.

Seeks and strives for permanent improvement.

Pro-active and strong problem-solving skills.

True team player.

Strong verbal and written skills in English and French.

Excel and Microsoft Office Suite fluency (with a focus on Excel & Power BI) and experience with SAP/S4HANA is essential.
