The FinancialAnalyst–Controllership Team will report to the Director of Finance. This position will participate inthe balance sheet reconciliation process and ensure correct reporting for statutory and government purposes,assist with auditrelated activities, enhancements to current accounting policies and internal control documentation The ideal candidate possesses anaccounting background with a large company, high attention to details and ability to thrive in a fast paced and constantly-evolving environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Prepare monthly statutory financial statements
Prepare and participate in reconciling monthly balance sheet accounts
Prepare Journal Entries with appropriate supporting documentation
Manage monthly accounting for fixed assets
Assist with audit procedural activities
Assist with enhancements of current accounting policies and internal control procedures documentation
Assist with the collection of required data for insurance policy renewals
Assist with compliance related projects
Assist the Director of Finance, VP of Finance,Campus CFO’s and VP of Taxation with special projects and ad hoc analysis
Participate in creating value through automation, improved reporting, and pushing processes back into SAP
Participate in strategic financial projects including SAP upgrades and other financial software implementations
Requirements

Balance Sheet reconciliation skills
Demonstrated experience working with and modeling extensive amounts of data
Experience in manufacturing industry preferred
1-3 years of related experience
SAP experience preferred
