Analyst, Specialty Contracts will be responsible for managing contract implementation and administration of Medicaid SRA’s and other commercial pre-templated contracts and pricing enhancement programs in SCOUT Contract Lifecycle Management system and other applicable contracting systems.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • The Analyst, Contracts is responsible for managing the end-to-end contracting process for Medicaid Supplemental Rebate Agreements, including obtaining internal stakeholder’s approval, contract execution and tracking

  • The Analyst, Contracts is responsible for managing the end-to-end contracting process for pre-templated pricing enhancement programs (e.g. Letter of Commitment), including drafting individual customer facing documents based on the pre-approved template, setting up new customer accounts in SAP and/or Model N, as applicable and activating the new contract in SCOUT

  • Collaborates with all necessary SMEs (e.g. Contracts, Contract Operations, Membership, Account Teams, etc.) to ensure complete and accurate contract implementation

  • Conducts tracking and performance measurement for all biosimilar contracts, carveout enhancement programs and pre-templated programs with performance requirements and completes customer communications based on the measurement outcome

Key Performance Indicators

  • Accuracy & completeness of executed and activated contracts

  • Timeliness of customer performance measurement

  • Accuracy & completeness of all applicable trackers for LOC’s and other OID discount based carveout agreements and programs

Ideal Background

Education

  • B .Com/ MBA (Finance) / M. Com /any other equivalent degree

Languages

  • Proficient in English

Experience

  • Minimum 2 to 4 years’ work experience required, preferably in the pharmaceutical or financial industries with financial analytics

Technical / Professional Knowledge and Skills

  • Interpersonal Skills - Excellent written and oral communication skills in English to interact confidently with all levels of internal and external customers.

  • Collaboration in Matrix Organizations - Demonstrates ability to navigate matrix environments, fostering alignment across cross-functional teams including Contracts, Market Access, Chargebacks and Membership.

  • Analytical Skills - Excellent analytical skills to review contracts. Ability to spot/analyze product trends and variances. Strong Problem-solving and organizational skills.

  • Technical Skills - MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint). Demonstrates knowledge of in SAP, ModelN, and Salesforce.

  • Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry & Its Segments - Brings basic understanding of key customers such as wholesalers, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs). Applies this expertise to develop and execute operational solutions that align with Market Access strategy and ensure compliance.
