Join our Global Network Finance Team!

The CTG Network Finance team serves as the strategic finance business partner for Akamai's Cloud & Edge Technology Groups. We oversee the financial analysis, COGS, and CapEx investments that power Akamai’s globally distributed, intelligent edge platform and rapidly growing cloud infrastructure. As key business partners to engineering leadership, FP&A, and accounting, our mission is to safeguard margin targets, model capital allocations for global server deployments, and identify risks and opportunities that enable executive decision-making.

In this role, you will bridge technical network operations and strategic corporate finance. You will deliver actionable reporting, analyze key network performance drivers, and partner cross functionally with senior operational leaders and accounting to drive business results.

As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Owning core components of the monthly Network COGS close process and preparing executive reporting packages utilized in Akamai's CFO Reviews.
• Analyzing daily network traffic trends and conducting variance, run-rate, and ROI analyses to link operational metrics with financial performance.
• Developing weekly COGS outlooks and burn-rate tracking to provide real-time visibility into infrastructure spending.
• Supporting and enhancing financial models for capital investments, server capacity expansion, and asset lifecycle initiatives.
• Collaborating closely with Sales Finance, Accounting, and Engineering Leadership to align traffic projections with revenue and cost assumptions.
• Implementing reporting workflow improvements and delivering specialized financial analyses to support strategic business decisions.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
• Bring 2-3+ years of hands-on experience in financial analysis, management reporting, or corporate finance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with practical experience in financial modeling, large data
• manipulation, and presentation building in PowerPoint.
• Possess strong analytical curiosity and problem-solving skills to connect complex technical network drivers with financial outcomes.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills in fluent English, with confidence in collaborating across virtual, cross-functional teams.
• Have an eagerness to learn about Akamai's cloud and edge architecture, with an appetite for working
