Job DetailsJob Location: Fort Myers, FL 33916Job Category: AdministrativeThe Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting operational performance reporting, labor productivity analysis, and acquisition performance tracking across the organization. This role partners closely with the Business Integration, Continuous Improvement, FP&A, and field Operations teams by delivering consistent KPI reporting, identifying performance trends, performing labor and system reconciliations, and maintaining reporting tools that drive informed operational decision-making.
This position plays a critical role in supporting the execution of operational initiatives through timely reporting, variance analysis, and structured performance tracking, with a strong focus on acquisition branch performance, labor efficiency, and synergy realization.
Support the development, maintenance, and ongoing refinement of operational performance KPIs, including labor efficiency, productivity, margin improvement, and path-of-motion execution metrics that drive overall operational performance, ensuring metrics remain aligned with operational and financial priorities.
Prepare weekly KPI reporting, including variance and multi-period trend analysis, while monitoring results to identify trends, outliers, and performance gaps, escalating concerns and providing timely insights to FP&A and operational leadership to support informed decision-making.
Monitor and reconcile labor and production data across payroll and job costing systems (e.g., Paycom and Aspire), identifying discrepancies, investigating root causes, and ensuring consistent exception reporting and ongoing data integrity.
Support acquisition integration performance by maintaining synergy trackers, operational performance scorecards, and post-close reporting tools, providing visibility into integration progress, performance trends, and synergy realization.
Track post-close acquisition performance against Quality of Earnings (QoE) assumptions and underwriting expectations by maintaining comparative reporting and preparing variance explanations for leadership review.
Review financial performance during active due diligence processes by analyzing revenue quality, margin trends, labor efficiency, and add-backs/normalization items, and by preparing concise financial summaries and insights to support valuation discussions and deal decision-making.
Support acquired branch leadership and operational stakeholders by delivering recurring reporting, projections, labor planning support to enhance visibility into operational drivers impacting financial performance.
Support the FP&A team in operational review cadences, including work ticket reviews, month-end performance reviews, and integration-related reporting discussions, ensuring required data is prepared and available for decision making.
Assist in the creation, maintenance, and improvement of operational Power BI dashboards, including ensuring data accuracy, dashboard usability, and alignment with operational and financial reporting priorities.
Support month-end close activities, including assisting with accrual support, reclass reporting, and operational reporting inputs required for accurate financial reporting.
Conduct ad hoc financial and operational analyses to support business initiatives, performance improvement efforts, and leadership requests, providing insights based on data and financial trends.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, dashboards, KPI structure, and data workflows by recommending enhancements that improve accuracy, reduce manual work, and increase operational visibility.
Follow and promote safety policies, practices, and procedures to ensure safe working conditions and behaviors are maintained.
Non-Essential Functions
Support the broader FP&A team with special projects, recurring reporting, and ad hoc analysis related to operational performance reporting, acquisition integration, continuous improvement initiatives, and other departmental priorities, as assigned.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, operational reporting, or business analytics, preferred.
Experience working with business intelligence tools (Power BI preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
Experience working with operational and labor data systems (Paycom, Aspire, or similar systems) preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive employee and company information.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively share information across teams and stakeholders.
Proficient in computer and technology skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and mobile devices.
