This role gives you visibility to business performance, strategic decision-making, and cross-functional operations across theChemPharmaEnergy group. In this position, you will work closely with the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, and finance leaders across the organization to analyse results, andassistinbuildingthe annual operating planand forecasts You willutilizeOperational Excellence tools to improve processes and turn financial data into insights that help drive business decisions. You will also gain hands-on experience with HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) reporting andprovidesupporttoCPE’s HFMusersacross the globe
Principle Duties(includes, but is not limited to):
Supports in themonthly review and analysis of key variances in the Balance Sheet and Income Statements forCPEentities.
Assistsinthedevelopment of senior level presentations on business results, performance analysis, financial models,forecastsand budgets, etc.
Assistsin thepreparationofannual operating plan,and various forecasts(weekly pulses,monthlyoutlook, quarterly forecasts)
PrepareHFM-based financial reports and analysisforoperations and finance senior management team
Responsible for HFM validation including analysis and year-end schedules.
Assistsusers throughout the group with HFM related issues.
Build and improve templates used across the group for month-end close, forecasts, plans, and other recurring finance activities
Develop a holistic understanding of Crane’s structure, strategy, and operations through site engagement and cross-functional activities
Partners with other Finance leaders in the organization to develop and implement process improvements.
Work with Team tovalidatemonthly productivity figures and driveadditionalproductivity actions
Learn how key processesoperateacross facilities, apply Operational Excellence tools to improve efficiency, and help teams understand thefinancial impactof business decisions
Take onadditionalprojects that broaden your finance, operations, and business leadership experience
Essential Qualifications / Experience:
BA/BS in Accounting,Finance, or Economics
Mustdemonstratestrong analytical and excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Independent thinkerpossessingresilience, passion, and high-energy.
Organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong Excel skills and an interest in learning financial systems and reporting tools
Working knowledge of GAAP and current accounting practices, with a willingness to deepen technical accounting knowledge on the job
