Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Financial Analyst.

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

What you’ll do:

This role is in Record to Report Process in a fast paced, high volume SSC environment that supports Eaton’s global business and operations that use ORACLE/SAP applications for financial accounting and reporting. The position is responsible for a variety of finance and accounting activities (such as reconciliations, intercompany, fixed asset accounting, period close activities, etcetera) with a high degree of efficiency and quality for Eaton business units. This position is responsible for managing multiple Record to Report activities while fostering process improvements and continuous learning. This position is also responsible for managing key production metrics and activities associated with quality audits.

Job Responsibilities

Day to Day Activities:
• Driving customer satisfaction by ensuring Record to Report activities are performed as per customer expectations and service level agreements
• Drive Customer Experience in adopting a solution oriented approach in accomplishment of key SLA, customer requirements.
• Processing project accounting and fixed asset related transactions while adhering strict compliance to company policies, addressing and guiding business units on capex/fixed assets related queries.
• Expertise required in fixed asset processes, knowledge of end-to-end fixed asset lifecycle, good understanding of capital spend analysis, prepare reconciliations in standard format, and asset accounting in Oracle & SAP ERP.
• Financial Analysis Skills - The ability to analyze financial data, including capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX)
• Project Management - tracking project progress, managing budgets, and ensuring timely capitalization of assets
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and identifying discrepancies in data
• Experience in transitioning and stabilizing processes would be preferable
• In-depth knowledge of GL activities like balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany, netting, hedge, fixed asset accounting, and journal entries
• Adhering and ensuring smooth month end close activities/processes
• Supports end to end processes and has good understanding of system touch points.
• Responsible for in-depth functional & business process knowledge
• Work in partnership with RTR CoEs and other GFSS workstreams on improving process results and processes

Qualifications:

Education level required
• Accounting Degree


Years and area of experience required
• 4-6 years related experience required – may be varied accounting, finance, information systems

Technical knowledge
• Either SAP (ECC & S4), Oracle R12, or combination of ERP knowledge is mandatory
