At RES, we’re looking for purpose-driven individuals who are passionate about restoration and sustainability, and who want their work to make a lasting environmental impact. Our team members go above and beyond, bringing initiative, integrity, and a strong work ethic to every project. Collaboration is key—we thrive on teamwork, open communication, and diverse perspectives. In a field that constantly changes, we value those who are resilient, adaptable, and resourceful in the face of challenges. If you're intellectually curious, eager to learn, and ready to help restore ecosystems and protect natural resources, you’ll find your place here.
As the Finance Analyst, you will support our regional and corporate finance teams by analyzing data, identifying trends, and delivering insights that help guide decision-making across the business. Reporting to the Regional FP&A Manager, you’ll play a key role in understanding and communicating the drivers behind financial performance—and ultimately improving it.
This role sits at the intersection of data, strategy, and execution, requiring both strong analytical capabilities and the interpersonal skills to collaborate with operations, client solutions, and accounting teams. You’ll work closely with project stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and actionable financial reporting, while also helping build forecasts and budgets that reflect our operational realities and growth trajectory.
A Day in the Life
You’ll start your day analyzing financial data related to project costs, revenue, and margin, identifying patterns and opportunities for improvement. You'll support the Sr. FP&A Analyst and Corporate FP&A Manager in building financial forecasts and tracking key metrics like gross profit, cash flow, and overhead.
You’ll prepare clear and concise financial reports and dashboards, track variances, monitor receivables, and follow up on discrepancies. Your analysis will help shape cost-saving strategies and operational efficiencies across business units. In this role, collaboration is key—you’ll interact regularly with Project Managers, Client Solutions Managers, Operations Managers, and Department Heads to gather context behind the numbers and communicate findings effectively.
This hybrid role will give you flexibility while keeping you closely connected to both your Houston-based team and the broader business through regular check-ins, planning sessions, and cross-functional projects.
What would make you stand out?

RES creates durable, resilient natural infrastructure for communities through solutions for environmental mitigation, stormwater and water quality, and climate and flooding resilience.
RES has a unique operating model for delivering ecological mitigation and restoration projects based on science-led design, integrated delivery, and long-term performance. From headwaters to coastal shores, RES designs, builds, and sustains sites that preserve the environmental balance, lifting impaired ecosystems to restored health and ultimately, self-sufficiency. These projects restore sensitive wetland, prairie, and species habitats as well as floodplains, streams, river valleys, and coastal and tidal systems. The result is nature-based systems that cleanse water, shelter wildlife, buffer storms, and sequester carbon from the atmosphere.
