Financial Analyst – Renewable Energy

A leading renewable energy developer is seeking a commercially minded Financial Analyst to join its Project Finance team.

This role will support the financial execution of large-scale renewable energy projects through financial modelling, project analysis, due diligence, and commercial support across the project lifecycle.

The successful individual will work closely with finance, legal, technical, procurement, and development teams to support project funding, bidding activities, and strategic financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Develop and maintain complex financial models for renewable energy projects
• 
  Conduct project valuations, forecasting, and sensitivity analysis
• 
  Support project finance and capital raising activities
• 
  Perform financial due diligence and risk analysis
• 
  Assist with bid submissions and financial close processes
• 
  Support tariff modelling and pricing analysis
• 
  Prepare financial reports, presentations, and supporting documentation
• 
  Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple business units
• 
  Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and industry changes

Requirements

• 
  Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
• 
  2–5 years’ experience in project finance, investment analysis, or financial modelling
• 
  Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
• 
  Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• 
  Strong understanding of project finance and commercial analysis
• 
  Excellent communication and presentation skills
• 
  Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Advantageous

  Exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, or large-scale project environments
• 
  Experience supporting financing or transaction processes
• 
  Understanding of energy markets and tariff structures
