Job Description

This is a genuine entry-level role into Commercial Finance, designed for someone early in their career who wants more than just reporting.

You’ll sit within the Financial Planning and Analysis team and act as the day-to-day finance partner to key business units, supporting performance conversations, contributing to commercial decisions, and building the foundation to step into a Finance Business Partner role over time.

This is not a back-office analyst role - you’ll be exposed to senior stakeholders early and play a meaningful role in how the business understands and improves performance.

What you’ll be doing;

  • Owning month-end reporting and turning numbers into stories that make sense
  • Being a go-to finance contact - answering questions, pressure-testing ideas, and supporting decisions
  • Getting involved in budgeting, forecasting and modelling
  • Supporting commercial decisions through pricing, profitability and business case analysis
  • Working with tools like Adaptive Planning to build reports, dashboards and better ways of working
  • Partnering across finance and operations to improve data quality and streamline reporting
  • Jumping into ad-hoc analysis and projects that give you exposure far beyond a typical analyst role

What you’ll bring;

  • 1–3 years’ experience in finance, accounting or analysis - you’ve either just started or are working towards your CA/CPA
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to step back and see the bigger picture
  • Confidence communicating with non-finance stakeholders
  • Curiosity, proactivity, and a willingness to ask questions
  • A genuine interest in how a business makes money - not just what the numbers say
  • A desire to build a long-term career in Commercial Finance

What’s in it for you;

  • A clear and supported pathway into a Finance Business Partner role
  • Early exposure to senior stakeholders and real commercial decision-making
  • Hands-on experience across reporting, planning, and commercial analysis
  • The opportunity to build both technical expertise and genuine business influence

  • Access employee benefits including discount programs, novated leasing, wellbeing support (EAP) and initiatives like an annual Unplugged Day and Cultural Day swaps.
