The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting to drive informed business decisions. This role involves examining financial data, preparing reports, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost management. The ideal candidate will leverage analytical tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to identify variances and trends.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, including variance analyses, reconciliations, and utilization summaries.
• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and automated reporting tools to improve data visibility and decision-making.
• Evaluate cost structures and identify opportunities for cost savings and process optimizations.
• Present financial analyses and recommendations to stakeholders, incorporating feedback for refinement.
• Collaborate with finance and other departments to understand business needs and support strategic initiatives.
• Recommend and implement tools or systems to enhance financial operations and reporting accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proactively pursue professional development to stay current with industry best practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
• Experience with financial planning and analysis in a corporate environment.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in financial software, including ERP systems, BI tools, and advanced Excel.
• Strong skills in data analysis, modeling, forecasting, and automation.
• Ability to work with large datasets to derive actionable insights.

Business and Analytical Skills:

• Solid understanding of budgeting, cost management, and financial principles.
• Capability to identify efficiencies and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Experience in evaluating financial tools and standardizing processes.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities for conveying complex information.
