Financial Analyst

• This role is responsible for managing the consumer Alliance rebates portfolio which includes but not restricted to Review of rebate contracts (WW and Region Managed) suggest/modify and facilitate appropriate allocation drivers to Markets, support the Budget and Flash process for Consumer related alliance rebates process, lead QEC and relating reporting activities leading and advising on critical business initiatives relating to optimization of alliance rebates, overseeing analysts across finance sub-functions and geographies/organizations. The role is responsible for driving financial management by analyzing, reporting, and reconciling financial and operational results.The role drives process improvements, provides expert counsel, represents the business unit/organization, and mentors lower-level employees, contributing to operational and strategic success.
Responsibilities
• Leads and drives the finance function relating to Consumer Alliance rebates across markets and business segments
• coordinate and drive modification/changes to allocation drivers of Vendor rebates to Markets and Countries by closely working with the Data Engineer as and when necessitated due to contractual changes.
• Performs highly complex analysis for Business/Market Finance in driving better accuracy of Flash/optimizing Vendor rebates
• Collaborates with business and Market Finance leaders on Flash/Actuals of the alliance rebates
• Drives process improvements and policy development initiatives that impact the Alliance rebates including automation
Lead the process of Rebate optimization drive by closely coordinating with the Markets on Region managed rebates.
• Contributes innovative ideas and may lead large cross-functional teams, exercising independent judgment to solve unique and complex problems impacting the Alliance rebates more specifically on the allocation and optimization of Vendor rebates
• Provides mentorship and guidance to team members, thus ensuring the realization of operational and strategic plans.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in financial management, business finance with accounting flare.
• Big4 experience will be preferable
