The Right Profile

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Financial Analyst / Senior Analyst to take ownership of accounting and bookkeeping for a specific legal entity within our global group.

This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring integrity of the P&L and Balance Sheet, supporting regulatory and statutory reporting, and driving reconciliations across financial and operational data.

You will work closely with Finance, Data, and Operations teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that combines structured processes with some manual workflows. Exposure to international finance operations (especially Hong Kong, Australia, or Singapore) will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

• Own end-to-end bookkeeping for the assigned entity/country.

• Maintain the General Ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.

• Prepare and review monthly P&L and Balance Sheet.

• Manage accruals, prepayments, journal entries, and expense classifications.

• Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.

Regulatory Reporting & Audit Support

• Support preparation and submission of regulatory reports in line with local requirements.

• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements.

• Liaise with external auditors and provide required schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory obligations.

Reconciliations & Data Integrity

• Perform monthly reconciliations across bank accounts, client funds, intercompany balances, and ledger accounts.

• Partner with Data teams to reconcile revenue, transactions, fees, wallet movements, and operational datasets.

• nvestigate discrepancies and drive resolution across teams.

4. Financial Operations & Process Improvement

• Ensure high accuracy in a partially manual accounting environment.

• Support month-end and year-end close processes.

• Improve documentation, workflows, and internal controls.

• Contribute to enhancing reporting consistency, scalability, and audit readiness.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA is a plus).

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in accounting/bookkeeping.

• Strong understanding of financial statements and reconciliation processes.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and accounting systems.

• Experience working with large datasets and manual reconciliations.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
