🟢Required professional background and skills:

  • University or college degree, preferably in Finance or Economics; we also welcome other highly quantitative fields (such as business informatics, mathematics, statistics or similar)
  • Have at least 2–4 years relevant experience, preferably gained at other advisory firms
  • Fluency in Hungarian and English
  • Excellent knowledge in Excel, solid knowledge of financial principles
  • Hands-on experience and sound knowledge of at least 1 analytics tool such as PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Alteryx
  • Practical experience with AI-enabled analytics tools and approaches (e.g., automation, ML-assisted analysis, or use of AI features in analytics platforms)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, team player attitude
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with precision and excellent numerical/logical reasoning
  • Ability to understand and solve complex tasks
  • Ability to identify patterns and trends in data sets
  • High standards in preparing and delivering client materials (reports, presentations, visualizations)
  • Self-motivated, confident personality with the ability to take initiative and work independently

🟢You will definitely impress us, if additionally you:

  • have CFA or ACCA certification (or ongoing studies)
  • have financial modelling experience
  • know Data Analytics & BI tools, Tableau
  • have experience with R, SAS or SQL
  • speak German as well

Your future role

🟢As a trusted consultant, you will:

  • Build complex financial analysis utilizing Microsoft Excel, Python, Alteryx, KNIME, Power BI & Tableau
  • Take part in significant international transaction projects
  • Collect, research, and analyze data related to the client’s business operations
  • Analyze data structure and data quality to ensure robust analyses
  • Research industries, specific companies, and market data
  • Analyze companies from a financial, operational, and industry perspective
  • Prepare and review reports, presentations, and visualization dashboards
  • Coordinate the work of junior colleagues and manage project streams
  • Create and deliver client proposals to obtain new engagements
  • Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel
  • Ensure high-quality output and timely execution of projects
  • Have opportunity for fixed-term international assignments (in London and other European capitals)

Selection process

2) The selection process typically begins with an initial screening stage, which may include an online assessment, a brief phone conversation, or an HR interview, depending on the position. This stage helps us better understand your professional experience, motivation, and career aspirations.

3) Successful candidates will then be invited to participate in one or two rounds of professional interviews. These interviews are typically 45-60 minutes long and may be conducted either online or in person. The discussions are generally focused on professional and technical competencies and, depending on the role, may include a practical exercise, case study, or presentation on a predefined topic. If any preparation or take-home assignment is required, all relevant information and expectations will be shared in advance.

4) If all stages of the selection process are completed successfully, we will move forward with the offer stage and discuss the next steps with the selected candidate.
