Salary Pay Range for This Position:
$70,304.00 - $115,000.00
Meet with and profile credit union members in order to determine the most appropriate products to meet their long term financial goals. Provide advice and guidance regarding retirement planning, college funding, long term investing the members’ financial health. Responsible for providing suitable recommendations that meet the needs of the member over the long term.
Provides branch staff with training to help them identify qualified referrals. Also works closely with branch management to develop business plans that support the investment goals established for the branches.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
Identify and evaluate member needs for investment services, assess the objectives and goals of the member, and develop financial plans.
Develop and maintain long term relationships based on trust and respect for members. Stay current on investment products and services offered by WFS.
Follow all regulatory requirements set forth by FINRA, SEC, and California Department of Insurance.
Must stay current on WFS written supervisory procedures and compliance memos.
Required to work closely with RMSR’s/ MSRIII’s to help them improve their product knowledge; and to help them meet or exceed their monthly referral and production goals. Participate in weekly conference calls, submit weekly sales reports and attend monthly sales meetings.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years investment sales experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Required FINRA Series 7, 65 or 66, and California Department of Insurance Life and Disability.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
