Job Description

Role Accountabilities

  • Intercompany Reconciliation: Create, update, and review intercompany transactions and charges, maintain reconciled balances, and provide bases for intercompany charges for board meetings and audits.
  • Management Information Report: Compare budgets to actual performances, perform variance analyses, develop cost control mechanisms, and present financial performance to the Board.
  • Financial Reporting: Review trial balances, reconcile accounts, generate financial statements, and support month-end and year-end closures.
  • Support: Assist with budget preparation, audits, tax filings, and provide finance and tax advisory to other departments.
  • Tax: Handle CIT returns, PAYE returns, pension returns, and remittances.
  • Audit: Conduct audit procedures and interface with internal and external audit personnel.

Skill and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, perform variance analyses, and develop cost control mechanisms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present financial performance to the

  • Proven ability to mentor and develop junior finance staff. Strong organizational and time management skills.
