Financial Accountant (m/f/x)

Location: Haren

Working Hours: Full-time employee

Our family-run company based in Haren (Ems), Germany, is growing at a fast pace and we are actively looking for qualified and dedicated team players to join us locally, internationally and beyond.

As we are looking to expand our team, we are seeking additional support for our financial accounting department (which serves the entire ELA Group).

The position is a one-year fixed-term contract.

Your Future Role

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the ELA Group
• Carrying out the advance VAT return
• Support with internal and external audits and tax matters
• Reconciliation of G/L accounts

What You Bring to the Team

• Completed commercial training with further training as an accountant, financial accountant (m/f/x) or similar
• Alternatively, a degree in economics with a focus on finance/accounting
• Several years of professional experience in accounting and finance required
• Basic knowledge of sales tax law desirable
• Knowledge of MS Dynamics NAV or SAP desirable
• Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
