Financial Accountant | Industry | Hybrid

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join a growing Finance team. As the Financial Accountant will be responsible for the balance sheet management, monthly management accounts, financial analysis, costings and assist in the budgeting and forecasting process.

This role requires strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
• Preparation of support schedules for key accounts in the Balance Sheet e.g. accruals and provisions
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into the company's performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Maintain records of fixed assets, track depreciation, and conduct periodic physical verifications
• Analyse and investigate budget variances and report findings to management.

Requirements:

• Recently qualified ACA / ACCA / CPA Accountant
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret financial data accurately and identify trends and potential issues.
• Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and complying with regulations.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to present financial information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
