Finance Manager

Key responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Perform general accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Support to fulfill internal controls and audit requirements through effective documentation and control execution.
• Monitor financial data quality, investigate discrepancies, and drive resolution of accounting issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process harmonization, and finance digitalization projects.
• Support finance transformation projects, including company code mergers and related data and process harmonization activities.

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (IHK Bilanzbuchalter for Germany)
• Experience in general accounting and financial reporting
• Knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
• Fluent in English - written and spoken, German language skills are a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in project and transformation environments
