Financial Accountant - Balance Sheet and Internal Controls Management- Hybrid

Our client, an International organisation is hiring a commercially minded Financial Accountant to join their experienced finance team due to growth.

Reporting to Senior Management, the successful applicant will be responsible for month end and year end activities.

This opportunity offers a city centre location, state of the art offices, a variety of benefits plus hybrid working.

The Role:

• Coordinate and perform month/year end closing activities for Group entities
• Responsible for the balance sheet, internal financial controls and monthly reconciliations that form part of the month end close.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights on key performance indicators
• Work closely with the externals auditors to ensure the information provided is accurate
• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for process improvements
• Streamline processes and enhance efficiency and accuracy

The Person:

• ACA/ACCA Qualified - newly qualified or up to 1 year PQE
• Top 10 trained professional with a good understanding of Internal Controls
• An ambitious individual with the desire to progress
• An effective communicator
