TotalEnergies Singapore Services (TESS) is the integrated shared services organisation supporting TotalEnergies entities in Singapore and in for some functions, across the Asia-Pacific Middle East region. TESS brings together Finance, Human Resources, Tax, Legal & Compliance, Business IT Services, Public Affairs & Communications, Internal Control & Affiliate Assistance and Facilities Management into a single, coordinated platform. By consolidating capabilities and expertise, TESS enables a more connected, efficient, and scalable operating model, supporting Singapore’s role as a key hub within the Company. Activities

-Financial Accounting & Reporting

oPrepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial accounts.

oPerform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items.

oRecord journal entries, accruals, provisions and adjustments accurately and timely.

oManage and oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, expense claims, collections, and related transactions

oMonitor Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), goods receipts, open purchase orders (POs), and related procurement transactions to ensure appropriate accounting treatment and timely resolution of outstanding items

oEnsure completeness and accuracy of general ledger balances.

oSupport month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.

oPrepare financial reports for management and Group reporting requirements.

oCollaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize working capital, mitigate credit risk, and support effective credit management

-Internal Control, Statutory & Tax Compliance

oPrepare statutory financial statements and coordinate annual audits.

oEnsure compliance with local accounting standards, IFRS and Group accounting policies.

oPrepare and coordinate direct and indirect tax filings, including annual corporate tax filing and tax queries, GST/VAT, withholding tax reporting and other tax matters.

oSupport internal and external audits

oLiaise with auditors, tax advisors and regulatory authorities.

oEnsure adherence to internal controls, SOX requirements and Group compliance standards

oRespond to government surveys, regulatory reporting requests, and other statutory requirements

oSupport corporate secretarial matters, including statutory filings, governance documentation, and compliance-related activities

oReview and improve accounting processes and procedures

oSupport and monitor service delivery from Shared Service Centres and drive continuous improvements.

oMonitor regulatory developments and assess impact on the business.

-Intercompany & Business Support

oManage intercompany recharges, settlements and reconciliations.

oEnsure timely resolution of intercompany differences.

oProvide accounting support to business stakeholders and operational teams.

oPartner with business units to support new products, new business activities and process changes.

-Process Improvement, Projects & Change Management

oParticipate in finance transformation, digitalisation and automation initiatives.

oParticipate in system implementations, process transformation and integration projects.

oSupport mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and new business ventures where applicable.

oPerform ad hoc assignments, special projects and other responsibilities requested by management.

Candidate Profile

-Minimum degree holder in Accountancy or Equivalent (Bac + 3)

-Recognized professional accountancy qualification (e.g. Chartered Accountant, CPA or ACCA membership) preferred.

-Minimum 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience.

-Experience managing full-set accounts in a multinational or complex business environment.

-Experience supporting multiple entities, business units or international operations.

-Exposure to shared service operating models and ERP systems.

-Experience in energy, commodity trading, manufacturing, renewables or related industries is advantageous.

-Ability to cope well with stress and multi-tasking

-Strong command of English language
