Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of the business, supporting regulatory reporting requirements, delivering high-quality financial analysis and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

About the Role

This is a varied and rewarding position offering exposure to financial reporting, management information, budgeting and forecasting, audit support and financial controls.

Key responsibilities will include:

About You

You'll ideally have:

  • Newly qualified accountant status.
  • Audit experience, with a Big 4 background considered advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the financial services sector, particularly life and pensions, although this is not essential.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • The confidence to build effective relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and senior managers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

What You'll Gain

At Royal London Ireland, you'll join a collaborative and supportive environment where you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Develop your career within a respected financial services organisation.
  • Gain broad exposure across finance, reporting and regulatory activities.
  • Work alongside experienced finance professionals and senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to meaningful business improvements and transformation initiatives.
  • Be part of a culture that values continuous learning, development and teamwork.
