Key Responsibilities :

Month End Close and Reporting:

• Perform month-end close activities for Altium India, including journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, payroll accounting, prepayments, and lease accounting.
• Support timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
• Maintain supporting schedules and reconciliations to ensure audit readiness and reporting accuracy.
• Assist with continuous improvement of close and reporting processes.

Statutory Compliance & Tax Support

• Coordinate local tax compliance activities, including liaison with internal tax teams and external advisors.
• Support preparation of tax filings, statutory returns, and compliance reporting requirements.
• Maintain supporting documentation and records to meet regulatory obligations.

Audit & Statutory Reporting:

• Coordinate annual statutory audits and respond to auditor requests.
• Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Support preparation of statutory financial statements and local regulatory reporting requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, consultants and internal stakeholders throughout the audit process.

Business Operations Support

• Provide finance support to Altium India employees and business stakeholders.
• Coordinate vendor payments, banking activities, employee reimbursements and corporate card administration.
• Assist with customer invoicing, collections support and accounts receivable activities.

• Act as a key finance contact for local operational matters.

Corporate Governance & Stakeholder Management

• Support board meeting, AGM and company secretarial requirements.
• Coordinate with local service providers and advisors on statutory and governance matters.
• Work closely with local management and global finance teams to ensure finance and compliance requirements are met.
• Support finance transformation and process improvement initiatives as required.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 2-5 years' experience in financial accounting, audit, tax or compliance.
• Experience working within a multinational environment is desirable.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
