The Role

Join our Finance team as a Financial Accountant in South Africa, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial operations. You'll take ownership of critical accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and capital expenditure processing. Working closely with our Country Controller, you'll support statutory compliance and execute essential SOX controls. This position offers the opportunity to develop your financial accounting expertise in a dynamic manufacturing environment while contributing to our regional success across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and process monthly financial accounting journal entries and General Ledger account reconciliations

Execute bank account reconciliations and manage all CAPEX-related processing activities

Assist the Country Controller with statutory compliance including tax, treasury, and SARS submissions

Execute monthly and quarterly SOX controls and update standard product costs as needed

What We Need To See From You

You hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with an Honors degree preferred

You have 1-3 years’ experience with financial accounting.

Working in manufacturing environments will be advantageous.

You possess working knowledge of IFRS standards.

You're a self-starter with strong communication skills, capable of managing demanding deadlines effectively.

Experience working with SAP will be advantageous.

Experience in Cost Accounting will be advantageous.
