Financial Accountant with German

Barcelona, Spain

Your contribution

In this challenging and important role you will provide accounting service to our Headquarters in Switzerland, ensuring that assigned tasks in supporting Accounts payable process are performed at expected levels in terms of quality and throughput and productivity. Collaboration with ad hoc activities within accounting.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payment
• Maintenance and reconciliation of accounts payable and clarification of questions regarding incoming invoices
• Preparation of supplier-related statistics
• Responsible for the financial processing and review of travel expenses submitted through our Concur app
• Support in the preparation of monthly, half-yearly and annual financial statements
• Support in optimizing processes and structures within accounts payable

• Ensures compliance on operational accounting policies and procedures

Your background

• BS degree in Accounting or Business Administration or Finance
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar position
• English as business language and fluent German and Spanish
• Excellent communication skills and highly customer-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
• Keen to work as a team and learn
