
WHAT YOU WILL DO?
As a Financial Account Manager (FAM) you work closely with your legal and financial colleagues within the Corporate Clients Team to continuously exceed our clients’ expectations. In this position, you are responsible for managing the financial activities concerning a diverse (international) client portfolio.
Further, you will be your clients' primary point of contact and be responsible for a wide range of administrative, compliance and financial tasks, e.g., bookkeeping, preparing statutory, periodic and financial reports and transaction monitoring.
Main responsibilities are:
Prepare balance sheets, profit- and loss accounts and annual reports;
Execute and maintain financial administrations, databases and other reporting systems;
Analyse financial and fiscal data to prepare both financial reports and statements;
Prepare periodic budgets and cash flow statements;
Cash management, including management of bank accounts and payments;
Monitor all transactions within your client portfolio;
Maintain an organised planning of work to ensure timely and accurate filing of administrative records;
Maintain close contact with clients, property managers, auditors, tax advisors, law firms, notaries and other external parties to obtain the required information for, e.g., reporting purposes;
Perform other finance and administrative tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements;
Participate in board and shareholders meetings.
HOW DO YOU FIT IN THE TEAM?
As a FAM, you work closely with team members of various levels and are capable of managing ad-hoc activities, intensive client contacts and your daily work. In this position, you need to prioritize what is important, have a hands-on and independent work mentality and be able to deal with deadlines. Having a helicopter view is essential, since you are responsible for financial processes and reporting deadlines for a portfolio of clients and structures. You are proactive, know what you are capable of and possess good communication, organisational and leadership skills.
Other relevant qualifications for this profile:
Bachelor / Master’s in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent;
Residing in the Netherlands;
3 to 5 years’ experience in (fund) accounting within the financial or corporate services industry;
Knowledge of accounting standards (Dutch GAAP and IFRS);
Knowledge of tax and compliance aspects is highly desirable;
Fluent in English (verbal and written);
Fluent in Dutch is preferable;
Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a part of a team; and
Strong sense of responsibility.
