Primary Purpose of the Role
The Finance and Administration Manager will oversee financial stewardship, administrative efficiency, and operational support in Uganda. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance,optimizing resources, and driving sustainable growth. The successful candidate will also deputise for the Country Head, providing leadership continuity and strategic oversight when required.
Key Accountabilities
1.
Financial Management & Strategic Growth
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and controlling processes to support business objectives.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including preparation of management accounts and statutory reports.
• Present financial performance reports to the Board, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Establish and enforce budgetary controls to ensure disciplined expenditure and resource allocation.
• Drive cost management initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business expansion and market competitiveness.
• Lead teams in executing financial growth initiatives and aligning operations with broader strategic goals

Administration & Operations
• Manage procurement, contracts, and vendor relationships to ensure value for money.
• Oversee office administration, logistics, and resource allocation.
• Implement efficient systems for documentation, record-keeping, and compliance.
• Support ICT and governance processes to align with Group policies.

Leadership & Governance
• Deputise for the Country Head, representing Parapet Uganda in client, stakeholder, and regulatory engagements.
• Provide leadership to finance and administration teams, fostering accountability and performance excellence.
• Collaborate with Group leadership to align Uganda operations with regional strategy.
• Champion ethical practices, transparency, and corporate governance standards.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CFA) is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial management and administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Ugandan tax laws, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex operations.
• Experience in facilities management, service industry, or related sectors is an added advantage.
