The Opportunity:

NORRIQ is seeking an experienced Financial Services Consultant to drive finance transformation projects for financial institutions. You will help clients optimize their financial processes, improve performance management, enhance reporting, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks. Responsibilities:

• Finance Transformation Strategy: Design and implement strategies to optimize financial management processes, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Enhance reporting processes, ensure timely financial closes, and support clients in adhering to regulations like IFRS, BEGAAP, COREP/FINREP, and more.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements across finance functions, focusing on operational efficiency and compliance.
• Business Analysis: Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
• ESG Integration: Help clients integrate ESG factors into financial management and reporting to meet sustainability goals and regulatory expectations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment and successful project delivery.

Your Profile:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in finance transformation, financial reporting, or consulting within the financial services industry.
• Business Analysis Skills: Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and developing actionable plans.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Excel
  and financial software tools; knowledge of financial regulatory reporting standards.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of key regulations like Basel III, Solvency II, and EBA Guidelines
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills; ability to work well in cross-functional teams and engage effectively with stakeholders.
• Languages: Fluency in English; French or Dutch is a plus.
