Job Description

We are currently looking for a Finance Trainee to join our team on full-time basis for a period of 3 months.

What you will be doing:

• Assist with asset tagging and classification by identifying, labelling, and categorising physical and digital assets across multiple locations, including furniture and fittings, software, IT hardware, general equipment, and medical equipment.
• Ensure all tagged assets are accurately documented and coded according to internal classification standards.
• Participate in periodic inventory checks, including unannounced (surprise) spot checks, to verify the existence, condition, and accuracy of recorded assets.
• Report any discrepancies or irregularities identified during inventory checks to the finance team for resolution.
• Support the finance team during regular and ad hoc cash count exercises, ensuring proper tallying and documentation of petty cash and other cash transactions.
• Assist with day-to-day finance operations, including data entry, record keeping, and administrative tasks related to asset and financial management.

What are we looking for?

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level of integrity and reliability when handling sensitive financial information.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
