Main purpose of the role
To provide support to NVS in achieving its business objectives, through the production of the Monthly Management Accounts, Forecast and Budgets, ensuring accurate records are kept and Regulatory Requirements are adhered to.
Core role accountabilities
· Ensure that Purchase Ledger Invoices are coded to the correct cost centres and nominal codes, and signed off in accordance to the relevant Mandates
· Assist with Stock takes and recording movements across the sites
· Maintain stock listings
· Maintain the asset register, calculate depreciation and reconcile to the nominal
· Create and process monthly journals that relate to the production of the accounts
· Review daily & monthly Bank Reconciliations
· Provide monthly control accounts and ensure relevant analysis and proof is created
· Production of all VAT returns, EC Sales list and any other national statistical office returns for review
· Prepare Budget and Forecast Information
· Produce Account Analysis where required
· Revaluation of Foreign Bank and Supplier accounts
· Process month ends and month end reports within set deadlines
· Maintain the exchange rates on the system
· Production of the monthly management accounts
· Production of year end information for the auditors
· Production of the Tax packs and Consolidation packs
· Analysis and posting of expenses and ensure correct approval
· Reconciliation of Petty cash accounts across all sites
· Other adhoc finance related duties when requested
· Assist with the analysis of Imports paperwork
· Preparation and posting of monthly accruals and prepayments
· Provide cover for Sales and Purchase Ledger when required
· Reconcile Intercompany balances on a monthly basis
Personal attributes: Qualifications, experience, skills, knowledge and competencies required to fulfil the role
Must be ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent qualification
Excellent excel skills
Methodical in approach
Driven and enthusiastic personality
Experience of supervising other team members
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
