Operational Management

  • Oversee the team's day-to-day sub-ledger accounting for Global Region, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee Fixed Assets (FA) accounting across the full cycle — recording of acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and miscellaneous activities in accordance with SW policy, US GAAP, and local statutory requirements; IBAR processing (IBAR Return and IBAR POD — internal & external); and CHRM closing — taking on additional operational ledger modules as scope expands.
  • Ensure accurate, timely and complete monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations via the OneStream (OS) system, in compliance with SW accounting and reconciliation policy.
  • Ensure Subledger Month-End Close activities follow internal-control policies, established work instructions, and checklists.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet agreed service levels (SLAs) and performance targets (KPIs).
  • Act as the team's technical/process reference, ensuring work complies with SW policy and the applicable accounting standards (US GAAP and local statutory) and accurately reflects the company's operations.
  • Lead operational troubleshooting, resolve escalations within the team and cross-functionally, and identify operational risks and control gaps — driving better practices, tools, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve productivity.
  • Serve as a strong support and backup for team members, stepping in across operational ledger modules and related processes (Oracle R12 & Cloud) whenever needed.
  • Resolve stakeholder inquiries promptly with accurate information and solutions, promoting a strong customer-service culture in which issues are recorded, monitored, and closed on time.
  • Attend and lead service review meetings, driving the resulting action items to closure.
  • Delegate day-to-day tasks and decisions appropriately, empowering team members to take ownership of outcomes.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the superior.
