This is a high-impact leadership role within the Chemelex Finance organization, responsible for owning the integration of financial requirements into enterprise systems, data structures, and business processes.
The role serves as the primary owner of financial integrity across ERP, EPM, and reporting platforms, ensuring that financial data, processes, and outputs are accurate, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
Acting as a critical bridge between Finance, IT / Data, and Operations, this role drives end-to-end finance transformation, enabling improved decision-making, reduced manual effort, and increased confidence in financial and operational data.
Key Role Responsibilities
• Act as the Finance lead for ERP, EPM, and reporting system implementations and enhancements, with accountability for financial outcomes
• Partner with IT / Data, and Operations teams to ensure systems and data structures support financial and operational decision-making
• Translate financial requirements into system and data specifications without loss of intent
• Drive cross-functional accountability for data inputs and process adherence
• Lead and own User Acceptance Testing (UAT) from a Finance perspective, ensuring financial accuracy and completeness
• Ensure financial requirements are fully embedded in system design, data models, and process flows
• Drive alignment between financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and operational systems
• Identify and drive process and system improvements across finance and operations
• Monitor data quality and system performance post-implementation, ensuring continuous optimization
• Drive cross-functional accountability for data inputs
• Align operational metrics with financial outcomes
• Identify and drive process and system improvements from a financial perspective.
• Support and enhance month-end close, forecasting, and planning processes through system and data improvements
• Enable increased automation, scalability, and predictability in financial operations
• Monitor data quality and system performance post-implementation from a financial perspective.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in FP&A, Operational Finance, or Corporate Finance
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Proven experience supporting or leading ERP/EPM implementations, with strong involvement in financial design and validation
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Deep understanding of financial data structures and their impact on reporting, planning, and operational decision-making
• Strong analytical and data validation skills
• Strong business partnering capabilities
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with tools like OneStream, Power BI, Cognos
• Ability to effectively bridge business and technical teams
• Experience working with integrated data environments (ERP, reporting, and operational systems)
