About the Role

This position requires the incumbent to drive Treasury automation, digitalisation and transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and scalability. Support Treasury systems, banking connectivity, analytics and process optimisation while maintaining involvement in daily Treasury operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Treasury Transformation, Automation & Systems

  • Drive Treasury automation, digitalisation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline Treasury processes, reporting, data management and payment workflows.
  • Develop and implement solutions using Power Automate, VBA, Python, SQL, Alteryx, Power BI or similar tools.
  • Lead Treasury system enhancements, UAT, implementation and optimisation across SAP, and banking platforms.
  • Enhance SWIFT connectivity, payment processing and straight-through processing (STP) in collaboration with banks and IT.
  • Improve Treasury analytics and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Automated reports and workflow solutions to enhance efficiency and decision-making.

Projects & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead or coordinate Treasury digitalisation projects across Finance, IT and banks.
  • Translate treasury operational requirements into practical system, reporting and workflow solutions.
  • Support Treasury strategic initiatives on the automation and process improvement roadmap.

Treasury Operations & Governance

  • Participate in daily Treasury activities, including liquidity management, funding, cash management and FX operations.
  • Perform Preparer or Verifier roles for Treasury transactions via online banking platforms and TMS.
  • Monitor liquidity positions, cash balances and operational exceptions, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Prepare or review Treasury-related journals and transaction records.
  • Maintain operational knowledge to provide backup support across Treasury functions, as required.
  • Support online banking systems administration, including user access management, controls and governance.
  • Ensure compliance with Treasury policies, regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Support audits, maintain Treasury documentation and drive process improvements.
  • Deliver ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Manager, from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years’ Treasury, Cash Management, Banking Operations experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Knowledge of cash management, liquidity, funding, FX, treasury operations processes and Treasury systems (SAP/TMS).
  • Hands-on experience on SWIFT, banking connectivity and automation tools (Power Automate, VBA, Python, SQL, Alteryx, Power BI) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, attention to details, communication and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
