Job Description

Regulatory and Statutory Reporting

  • Prepare and support regulatory filings and reporting requirements to SUSEP and other regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with Brazilian insurance regulatory requirements and applicable accounting standards.
  • Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and related disclosures.
  • Maintain documentation and evidence supporting regulatory submissions.

Accounting and Financial Activities

  • Support local accounting activities, including month-end and year-end closing processes and internal and external audits.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial records.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining robust internal controls and governance environment.

Financial Analysis and Performance Monitoring

  • Prepare pluriannual Budget, Forecast and Business Plan.
  • Analyze monthly financial and technical performance under IFRS4 and IFRS17, identifying trends, variances, and key business drivers.
  • Produce management reports and presentations for Finance Leadership and Group Management.
  • Monitor key financial and operational indicators and provide actionable insights, such as profitability, solvency and liquidity.
  • Knowledge in Financial modeling and Scenario analysis.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
  • Participate in finance transformation initiatives, automation projects, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Support the enhancement of reporting tools, dashboards, and data quality processes.

Contribute to standardization and documentation of finance procedures.

Job Responsibilities

Experience:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Reporting, or Controlling.
  • Experience within insurance, reinsurance, or financial services industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience with regulatory reporting to SUSEP is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot and Phyton is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in multinational environments is an advantage.
  • Required:
  • Strong understanding of Brazilian accounting standards and insurance regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of IFRSs and statutory reporting.
  • Advanced Excel.
  • Experience with ERP platforms (I4PRO / SAP preferred).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement orientation.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Actuarial, or related fields.
  • Professional accounting certification (CRC) is a plus.
