Finance Specialist: Clinvet Morocco

Clinvet Morocco is looking for a Finance Specialist to join our Finance team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional with a solid background in accounting, taxation, and Moroccan corporate legal compliance. The successful candidate will support the local finance function by preparing accurate financial information for the central Clinglobal Finance team while taking ownership of the company's legal and statutory administrative obligations in Morocco.

The role requires someone who is highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing legal documentation, statutory filings, and interactions with Moroccan authorities while ensuring compliance with all applicable financial, tax, labor, and corporate regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Gather, review, and prepare financial data for processing by the central Clinglobal Finance team
• Verify supporting documentation and maintaining accurate accounting records
• Prepare reconciliations and supporting schedules as required
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting activities
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis when required
• Maintain organised electronic and paper filing systems

Tax & Payroll Compliance

• Assist with the preparation and submission of Moroccan tax declarations
• Prepare documentation supporting VAT, corporate tax and withholding tax obligations
• Support payroll administration by ensuring accurate CNSS, payroll and employee documentation
• Monitor statutory deadlines and ensure timely submissions

Corporate Legal Administration (Dossier Juridique)

• Maintain the company's legal register and statutory records
• Prepare and maintain corporate legal files
• Coordinate documentation relating to shareholders' meetings, board resolutions and legal filings
• Liaise with external accountants, auditors, tax advisers, lawyers, notaries and government authorities
• Assist with registrations, renewals, permits and other regulatory requirements
• Ensure legal documentation remains complete, accurate and up to date

Minimum Requirements

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, OFPPT Bac +2, Business Administration or related field 2–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Good practical knowledge of Moroccan accounting principles.
• Practical understanding of Moroccan corporate legal documentation ("dossier juridique")
• Working knowledge of Moroccan taxation
• Knowledge of CNSS and payroll documentation
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general Office applications
• Ability to work accurately under multiple deadlines simultaneously and follow established processes
• Good communication skills in French and/or English
• Experience with one or more of the following would be advantageous:
• Sage
• Odoo
• Electronic tax filing
• Corporate secretarial work
• Working with external auditors
• Foreign-owned companies
• Multinational organisations

Location: On-site role based in the Mohammedia area, Morocco.
