The Finance Sr. Administrator is responsible for performing routine financial administrative tasks with minimal supervision. This role ensures accurate data entry, supports financial reporting, and maintains compliance with internal procedures.
This job profile is intended for experienced professional-level staff that generally works autonomously and only requires closer supervision in non-routine situations.
Join our team as a Finance Specialist and play a key role in ensuring smooth and accurate financial operations. In this position, you will manage accounts payable activities, support financial closing processes, collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers, and help maintain high standards of financial accuracy and compliance.
What You Will Do
Manage and oversee end-to-end accounts payable processes.
Review, reconcile, and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
Act as the main point of contact for accounts payable-related inquiries.
Coordinate with external service providers supporting PTP and RTR activities.
Execute weekly payment runs and process manual payments when required.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Maintain and update finance master data records.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Procurement, as well as with Sulzer entities across the organization.
What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience in accounts payable, accounting, or finance operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, functions, and pivot tables.
Experience working with SAP FI/CO is an advantage.
Advanced English skills (B2/C1 level).
German language skills (B1 level) are a plus.
