The Project Finance Specialist – Special Projects is a key member of the EE Projects & OTR Finance team, reporting to a Project Finance Senior Manager. The role supports two strategic projects, combining ownership of project financials with strong analytical execution to drive performance, ensure financial integrity, and support decision-making.

As Project Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Owning financial management of assigned projects, acting as a key finance partner to Project Managers and cross-functional teams

  • Driving project performance through margin analysis, cost tracking, and proactive identification of risks and opportunities

  • Leading closing activities, including revenue recognition, variance analysis, and reporting accuracy

  • Ensuring balance sheet integrity through reconciliation and timely resolution of project-related items

  • Providing clear financial insights and reporting for operating rhythms and leadership reviews

  • Supporting audits, controllership processes, and compliance with internal controls and policies

  • Contributing to process simplification, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • Relevant experience in Project Finance, FP&A, or Controllership roles

  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate operational drivers into financial outcomes

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial analysis and reporting

  • Fluent in English

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a matrix environment

  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and ability to operate with autonomy

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and mitigate project risks

  • Effective communication skills, with ability to influence stakeholders

  • Solid understanding of project accounting, revenue recognition, and financial controls

  • Experience with Oracle ERP or similar systems

  • Continuous improvement mindset with focus on simplification and data quality

For Italy the initial pay range for this position will be EUR 51,200 To 70,400.

The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay
