We are looking for a Finance Solution Consultant (Pre‑Sales) to strengthen our growing Solution Consulting team, with a primary focus on the German market This is a role for someone who understands why finance matters, not just how systems work — and who enjoys helping customers see the value behind the solution.
About the role
As a Finance Solution Consultant, you will act as a trusted advisor to CFOs and finance organizations, supporting sales teams in winning new business. You’ll work at the intersection of finance, ERP, and storytelling, helping customers understand how modern finance solutions support better control, insight, and decision‑making.
This is a growth role, and it offers long‑term development within a highly skilled, international Solution Consulting team
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Support sales teams in pre‑sales activities, primarily for new customer opportunities
- Present and position finance solutions with a strong focus on business value and outcomes
- Translate finance processes, ERP capabilities, and cloud technology into compelling customer narratives
- Lead and contribute to:
- Discovery sessions
- Customer presentations and demo
- Value‑based storytelling tailored to CFOs and finance leaders
You’ll engage with topics such as:
- Plan‑to‑report
- Financial consolidation
- ESG reporting
- Risk & compliance
- Finance as part of end‑to‑end business processes
Market focus:

~75% Germany (German language required both speaking and writing)

~25% international, including Nordics, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East
- Customer engagements outside Germany are typically conducted in English
The team you’ll join:
- An international Solution Consulting team with deep finance and ERP expertise
- Organized around focus areas such as:
- Finance for Process / Distribution ( Infor M3)
- Finance for Discrete Manufacturing ( Infor LN)
- Enterprise Performance Management ( EPM)
You’ll work across ERP, Cloud, Analytics, EPM, GRC, and Expense Management, in a culture that values collaboration, knowledge sharing, and cross‑training
Basic Qualifications:
You don’t need to be perfect in everything. Strong candidates typically bring strength in at least two of the three areas below
1. Finance & business process understanding
- Broad finance knowledge (beyond one narrow specialty)
- Ability to discuss CFO priorities and finance processes end‑to‑end
2. ERP & technology understanding
- Experience with ERP and enterprise solutions
- Ability to explain how cloud, automation, AI, and analytics create business value
- Experience with Infor M3 is relevant.
3. Pre‑sales & storytelling skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Comfortable engaging customers and leading discussions
- Able to inspire trust and confidence with finance stakeholders
Your background
- Experience from pre‑sales, solution consulting, finance, or consulting roles
- Experience with ERP (e.g. Infor, SAP, IFS, Oracle, Microsoft)
- Industry experience is beneficial, but not mandatory
- Motivation to grow long‑term
