As a Finance Senior Associate at PwC, you will take on a more strategic and supervisory role within the finance team. You willbe responsible formanaging core finance activities, reviewing work prepared by junior team members, and ensuringhigh standardsof accuracy and compliance. Your ability to analyse financial data,identifytrends, andprovideactionable insights will be critical to supporting business decisions.You will also play an active role in coaching and guiding team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Responsibilities

In this exciting position, you will

  • Lead the preparation and review of monthly financial reports and ensure their accuracy and completeness.

  • Perform and oversee complex account reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies areidentifiedand resolved promptly.

  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making and business strategy.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee compliance-related activities, ensuring day-to-day processes are adhered to, including the preparation, review, signing, and proper filing of documentation such as board resolutions.

  • Review work completed by junior team members, providing guidance and feedback where necessary.

  • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.

  • Identifyopportunities to improve financial processes and drive operational efficiency.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensuretimelyandaccuratereporting.

  • Maintain strong documentation and audit trails for all financial processes.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

  • Contribute to projects and initiatives aimed at improving financial systems and controls.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Professional qualification (ACCA) or in progress would be an advantage.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role.

  • Strongproficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and familiarity with financial systems.

  • Knowledge of Power BI and Alteryx to be an advantage

  • Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis.
