Job Description

& Summary

PwC Armenia is looking for an experienced and responsible Finance Senior Associate who will be responsible for statutory, management and tax accounting of the Firm, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and PwC policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit regular management reports in a timely manner, including monthly P&L, quarterly balance sheet and semi-annual consolidated reporting packages and other ad hoc reports

  • Prepare annual budget and periodic forecasts, including analysis of variances against actuals

  • Prepare and submit monthly tax declarations, statutory IFRS financial statements and other regulatory reports

  • Prepare and provide required information for internal and external audits

  • Calculate and manage payroll

  • Maintain the Firm’s accounting records and perform day-to-day financial transactions, including management of the general ledger (accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, etc.)

  • Execute and monitor bank transfers

  • Ensure proper processing of accounts payable, including verifying, classifying, posting and reconciling transactions

  • Ensure proper documentation flow and compliance with internal control procedures

  • Support business units in analysing project economics and engagement performance

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality financial service and operational efficiency

  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams, partners and vendors to ensure timely execution of finance processes and service quality

  • Ensure meeting reporting deadlines to the Chamber of Auditors and Expert Accountants of Armenia, Department of statistics, Revenue service and other regulatory bodies.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration

  • At least 3 years of work experience in the field of accounting

  • In-depth knowledge of tax legislation, accounting legislation and understanding of financial standards

  • Experience of preparation of financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards

  • Knowledge of Accounting Software, tax software, and Microsoft Office package

  • Excellent Armenian and English both written and oral

  • ACCA qualification is a great plus

  • Ability to multitask and follow the strict deadlines.
