Job Description

As Finance & Risks Manager BeNeSca, you’ll have a broad responsibility across finance, business performance, risk and people:

  1. Financial Management
  • Oversee all financial procedures, accounting processes, controls and financial systems across BeNeSca.
  • Ensure compliance with Group policies and finance best practices.
  • Coordinate finance activities with local management and Group Finance.
  1. Financial Reporting
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, statutory accounts, tax declarations, management accounts, and balance sheets.
  • Coordinate external audits and statutory requirements.
  • Provide local and Group reporting, including quarterly business reviews and performance analysis.
  1. Business Performance Management
  • Support the achievement of sales, gross margin and profitability targets.
  • Provide management with insightful analyses on sales, margins, operating expenses and business performance.
  • Identify cost optimisation opportunities and support pricing and profitability decisions.
  1. Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, develop and coach the small finance team in Belgium.
  • Ensure succession planning, capability development and performance management.
  • Establish and monitor finance KPIs.
  1. Budgeting & Strategic Support
  • Lead the annual budget and forecasting processes.
  • Provide financial guidance to support strategic decision-making.
  • Challenge and evaluate commercial and operational initiatives to maximise value creation.
  1. Data & Analytics
  • Ensure accurate financial and commercial data management.
  • Deliver actionable insights based on business intelligence and reporting tools.
  • Support commercial policies through discount calculations, customer analyses and profitability assessments.
  1. Risk, Compliance & Internal Control
  • Promote a strong finance and risk culture throughout the BeNeSca organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with Group policies and applicable regulations (internal controls, GDPR, anti-corruption, fraud prevention, ethics, etc.).
  • Lead audit remediation plans and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Who you are

  • Qualified finance professional.
  • Extensive experience in financial leadership within an international environment.
  • Strong people management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business partnering, financial planning, reporting, compliance and risk management.
  • Strong analytical, communication, leadership and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience with IT implementations and/or project management.
  • Fluent in Dutch, English, French
