We’relooking for a FinanceRiskSpecialistto join our Enterprise Risk team, partnering closely withourFinance, Treasury and Peopleteamstomonitorandstrengthen our control environment, challengeways of working, and provide confidence at senior leadership level.
This is a high-impact role whereyou’llcombine risk insight, control testing, and stakeholder influencingto ensure weoperatewith strong governance and make informed, risk-based decisions

Partnering closely with teams across Finance, Treasury and People,you’ll
Risk Partnering
Act as a trusted risk partner, providing oversight, challenge and guidance on governance,riskand controls
Work closely with business functions to proactively shape the control environment as new initiatives are delivered
Build strong relationships to influence better decision-making andto be a trusted advisor onriskand control matters
Control Testing & Assurance
Perform testing of key financial controlsin a systematic manner,assessingdesignadequacyand operational effectiveness,andidentifyingcontrolgaps and process improvementopportunities
Support the ongoingmaintenanceof the control environment to protect assets,reduce risk , and assurethe accuracy of financial reporting
Contribute to the assurance provided to senior stakeholders, including the CFOand Board Committees
We’relooking for these skills
Experience in financial risk, controls,auditor assurance (ideally within financial services)
A strong understanding of control design and control testing frameworks
Proven ability to partner with stakeholders and provide credible challenge
An accounting background is preferred (part or fully qualified ACA / ACCA)but those with an internal audit background will equally be considered
Solid Excel capability (advanced Excel is a plus)
A proactive mindset — able toidentifyrisksandset out cost-effective mitigation measure
Clear communication skills, with the ability to translate complexmattersinto practical insight
