Your future role

As a Finance Project Manager, you will be the main partner for the Financial Strategy success of the project, contributing to negotiation processes to secure project success. You will participate in overall Project Management process jointly with Project Manager and provide financial analysis, advice and guidance to support the project team in making the best business decisions for the project.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensure full compliance with financial governance, standards, and reporting requirements throughout the project lifecycle

  • Monitor and optimise project financial performance, including costs, revenue, margin, cash flow, and working capital

  • Deliver accurate forecasting and analysis, enhancing visibility on financials and supporting informed decision-making

  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and opportunities, including contingencies, savings, and corrective action plans

  • Provide early warning on financial impacts and challenge assumptions to protect project performance

  • Contribute to project reviews, profitability assessments, and monthly closing activities with clear and reliable reporting

  • Actively support Service project bids and tenders by contributing to contract review, bidding activities, and financial evaluations to enhance competitiveness and drive successful outcomes.

  • Drive continuous improvement by turning financial data into actionable insights and promoting a strong cash culture

  • High level of experience or understanding of project financial management and forecasting.

  • Strong understanding of financial performance metrics, reporting, analysis, and associated risk and compliance frameworks

  • Solid organisational skills and ability to prioritise.

  • Excellent knowledge in MS Excel, knowledge of SAP.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with team and stakeholders effectively.

  • CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
