The Role

As a Finance Project Business Analyst we are looking for individuals who challenge existing ways of working, embrace positive change and bring a clear, structured approach to problem-solving.

The role is offered on an 18 month fixed term contract

In this role, you will join a dedicated project team implementing the Oracle Fusion ERP system across NEXT Finance, with a specific focus on the Procurement module.

Working within our operational space, you will help transition our purchasing processes, covering everything from requisition creation, purchase orders and approvals to receipting, invoice approval and matching capabilities.

You will work closely with lead managers and key operational teams, demonstrating rigour in your output while identifying and managing risks to maintain strong business controls.

What You Will Take On Design & Strategy

  • Participate in ongoing design workshops to establish standard functionality and streamline processes.
  • Help design the integration strategy for transitioning to the new software.
  • Document process flows, change requirements, and design decisions clearly within project scope.
  • Review configuration workbooks alongside functional and integration design documents.

Business Readiness & Testing

  • Support business impact assessments and contribute to training plans.
  • Lead test planning and execution, guiding end users through testing cycles.
  • Collaborate with the existing Procurement and Accounts Payable teams to map existing workflows.
  • Partner with Tech QA and Finance UAT teams to build comprehensive test scripts.
  • Work with Data Migration teams to verify data accuracy, and coordinate with Reporting teams to support reconciliations.

Implementation & Support

  • Support change management teams to ensure clear training for all system users.
  • Assist with cutover planning and execution.
  • Provide post-go-live warranty support.

What You Will Bring

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Procurement processes.
  • Proven experience implementing operational change, with a focus on automation and internal controls.
  • Experience with ERP systems, ideally working with Oracle Fusion.
  • Solid analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to self-manage, organise multiple tasks, and meet key project deadlines.
  • Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, or Google Slides.
