The Finance Program Manager will serve as the primary financial reporting and analysis resource for the Division of Transplant Medicine, the first division of its kind in the United States, while also providing financial reporting and analytical support for the Division of Hospital Medicine. In this role, the successful candidate will help translate complex financial and operational information into clear, actionable insights that support clinical operations, faculty planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic decision-making. The position offers broad exposure to financial reporting, provider productivity, clinical revenue, business case development, and process improvement in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. Day to day, this individual will build and maintain financial models, monitor key performance trends, partner with division and department leaders, and identify opportunities to strengthen reporting workflows, improve revenue capture, and support responsible stewardship of divisional resources. Key Responsibilities:Lead financial reporting and analysis for the Division of Transplant Medicine, including provider productivity, clinical activity, wRVU performance, cFTE targets, monthly financial results, and other key financial and operational metrics, while providing monthly financial reporting and related analytical support for the Division of Hospital Medicine.Monitor financial performance, identify trends and variances, and provide timely analyses and recommendations to support operational and strategic decision-making.Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, business case development, faculty recruitment, compensation planning, clinical initiatives, and long-range planning.Support day-to-day management and oversight of divisional funds, including clinical, grant, gift, and other funding sources, ensuring appropriate use, documentation, reconciliation, and reporting.Partner with division leadership, the Department of Medicine finance team, CU Medicine, and other stakeholders to resolve financial questions, improve reporting workflows, and strengthen alignment with institutional requirements.Ensure CU Medicine sites of practice and related billing information are accurate, current, and aligned with division clinical operations and provider assignments.Provide guidance on procurement, reimbursement, payment activities, fund selection, and related compliance requirements to ensure transactions are accurate, allowable, properly documented, and aligned with applicable policies. Work Location:Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings. Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business, finance, accounting, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.Four (4) years of professional experience in financial analysis, budgeting, accounting, or financial operations. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field from an accredited college or university.Experience in a healthcare or higher education institution.Experience with the University’s PeopleSoft finance system.Experience with Anaplan or similar financial planning system.Prior experience managing clinical revenues, productivity reporting, and financial modeling.
