Finance Planning & Analysis Manager

Kyiv | Ukraine (UA) | Full-time | Permanent

As a Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager in our organization, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring robust planning and reporting processes. You will coordinate short- and long-term financial planning cycles, provide clear and insightful analysis to business stakeholders, and lead a small FP&A team to deliver high-quality financial information.

How You Will Make an Impact

Planning & Forecasting

• Coordinate short- and long-term financial planning processes, including the annual budget, monthly outlooks, and revised forecasts.
• Ensure that financial plans are realistic, aligned with business objectives, and supported by clear assumptions.

Financial Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial and analytical reports for management, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity.
• Conduct portfolio profitability tracking and analysis, investment analysis, and efficiency improvement assessments to support strategic decisions.
• Analyze customer performance, including trade channel profitability, and provide recommendations to optimize commercial effectiveness.

Performance Management & Gap Analysis

• Perform gap analysis by comparing actual results versus forecasts and budgets.
• Identify and research key drivers impacting business performance and prepare clear, structured reports for management.
• Contribute to monthly business review preparation, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.

Month-End Closing & Business Support

• Participate in the month-end closing process to ensure proper reflection of business activities and alignment with reporting requirements.
• Support the commercial team with financial analysis of initiatives and projects, including business cases and post‑implementation reviews.

Leadership & Team Management

• Manage the FP&A team (currently 1 direct report), setting priorities, coaching, and ensuring high-quality output.
• Promote a culture of proactivity, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the finance function.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Higher education in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Fluent Ukrainian.
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role (FP&A, financial planning, reporting, budgeting or related fields).

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into clear insights.
• Solid knowledge of finance reporting and demonstrated experience in financial modeling.
• Hands-on experience in financial planning, reporting, and budgeting.
• Understanding of IFRS accounting principles.
• Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and deliver results within tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Leadership skills and experience in managing or mentoring team members.
• Proactive, hands-on approach and a strong sense of responsibility.
